FOCUS ON HEELING
This class is for handlers planning to compete in obedience or rally who want to develop attention and focused heeling in their dog. Topics covered: footwork, play training and doodling.
BEGINNER NOVICE
This class is for dog and handler teams that have worked in Novice Competition class or equivalent. Instructors will cover ring procedure and rules for AKC Beginner Novice Class and students will practice the various sequences.
NOVICE COMPETITION
Novice classes work on attention, precision heeling, and preparation to show in the obedience ring.
Pay for six week punch card (good for 10 weeks) or a walk-in fee (pay at class)
OPEN AND UTILITY
In Open and Utility classes exercises include retrieving, jumping, signals, and scent discrimination. Pay for six week punch card (good for 10 weeks) or a walk-in fee. (pay at class)
Open Jumps - 6:00pm
Open Class - 6:30-7:30 pm
Utilty Class - 7:45- 8:45 pm approx.
RALLY
RALLY - TUNE UP is a class for experienced Obedience or Rally handlers who want to have a chance to practice courses and skills. The instructor is an AKC Rally judge who will lay out courses and answer questions.
RALLY INTRO is a class for handlers and dogs to learn the basics of Rally Obedience including the Novice exercises and ring procedure.
