NOSEWORK I & II

NOSEWORK I
Class limited to 8; continuing students only
6 weeks/$90
Dates: June 8, 15, 29, July 13, 20, 27

In Introduction to Nosework I Class, dogs will be taught to search for scents in various places - boxes, containers and "other" places. This class is to help the dogs become confident in their ability to find the source of the scent in various places. Only one dog/handler team at a time will be working while the remainder of the class watches and learns. This foundation class will pertain to all venues.

Students must bring their own crates, high value treats like liverwurst, hot dogs, etc., at least 6 foot leash or longline/flexi-leash is also acceptable. Dogs must be on buckle collar, harness or martingale.


NOSEWORK II
Class limited to 20
8 weeks/$120; punch card for 6 classes $90; walkin $15/class for former students

Dates:June 11, 18, 25, July 9, 16, 23, Aug 6, 20


In Nosework II, dog and handler teams will continue work to search for various scents in closed containers. Handler will be learning to read his/her own dog, and eventually work as a team.
